The group from US included RoseMarie, ICB4RM and Charles, K4TY; Anne, WB1ARU and Tony WA1ENO; Lois WB3EFQ and Tom W3BZN, and our VE chairperson, Suzanne VE7IM.

Also attending were 5 hams from VK-land, 2 from Japan and VU2SWS from India. Of course the rest of the group were from various parts of Germany.

We traveled to many interesting sights in the area including the Zugspitze summit, although the day we went it was fogged in. Salzburg Austria where we had a nice tour and I had the chance to meet a friend I had not seen in over 50 years.

The castles at Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau were very impressive once we walked to them. At the meet and also at Friedrichshafen Tina, VK5TMC gave an interesting program about the 2012 YL meet which will be held in South Australia.

The VI girls are really planning for a nice event, which will be held in May 2012.1 was given the opportunity to talk about YLRL at both venues also. Anne WB1ARU spoke about our 2011 convention in the Boston area
