2011 YLRL Convention

Some memories from from Carol K4SAF:
This lady showed up for our Charter Bus. I don’t recall her name now, but I wrote to her after convention so I knew it then. The bus company put her on the wrong charter bus. She only wanted to spend her day off work at the beach on a hot July day. Instead she chose to go with our group to various museums, Cape Cod, bag lunch outside. I bought her a shirt at the Marconi Museum, because she was cold as she had on only a tank top. She was so positive about the mistake and actually seemed to be enjoying her day with us bunch of hams! I’m not sure I could have been as positive as she was in the same situation.
